  • Is this cheating? Need opinions...

    I discovered the yummy delectableness of this dessert:

    SF jello cups with whipped cream that I make myself with heavy whipping cream and a dash of Splenda.

    I heard of it from another board, and had to try it.

    Is this or is this not considered cheating for an extended induction? What about other phases?

    I hope it is legal - the tasty goodness is too much to pass up!

    Do they contain aspartame? If so, they are not allowed, refer to the allowed sweeteners in DANDR.

      If you make them yourself with splenda, or if you use a jello made with splenda, they are fine. Remember to keep to small amounts though

        And dont forget Dr Atkins considered desserts as an occasional treat - not a daily occurrence when trying to lose weight.
