Well, here I am on Day 15. I have lost 7.4 pounds. I need to lose 14.6 more pounds to get to what I consider my ideal running weight of 150 pounds. I am already noticing a difference. My pants don't feel like a waist tourniquet. I have no more Induction Flu symptoms. I don't feel hungry all the time. I have no desire to snack. I think I will keep induction up for awhile longer and see what happens.

Re: I'm on Day 15.
Remember that OWL means "Ongoing Weight Loss" and if you are within 20 pounds of your goal weight, you need to start up those rungs so you are prepared to continue this way of eating for life when you reach your goal.
Induction is the foundation, but OWL, Pre-Maintenance and Maintenance are the structures you need to make this a natural part of your life. Don't be sucked into staying on Induction long if you are near your goal....it's counter-productive.

Re: I'm on Day 15.
congrates.
But as Moochie said try moving up to OWL you will just be adding 5 more net carbs of those induction vegies forthe first week and those extra micronutrients really come in handy. We just has somebody posting about how much she lost her first week in OWL and another poster saying she lost more in 30 days of OWl then she did in induction and extended induction.
You have done a great job on the foundation of your House of Atkins but build those walls now so your roof stays up when you get to goal.

Wow - that is nearly a third of your hoped-for loss in two weeks!!!
Congratulations on your loss.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!
