Hey...Ok, so last night my kids and I made these really yummy personal sized pizza's, and although the "pizza crust" we used seems ok I wanted to get the pro's opinion's.
It's from a company called La Tortilla Company; it's a whole wheat low-carb/ low-fat garlic & herb tortilla (you can buy them plain or with other seasonings). On the pkg it says you can use them for wraps, quesadillas, burritos, chips, pizza crust, toast, crepes, quiche cups, etc... So I thought it sounded great and picked up a pack of 10 for $3.99... Surprisingly, they taste really good!
Here's the break down:
serving size - 1 tortilla (36g)
calories - 50
total fat - 2g
saturated fat - 0g
polyunsaturated fat - 1g
monounsaturated fat - .5g
choloesterol - 0mg
sodium - 180mg
total carbs - 11g
fiber - 8g
sugars - 0g
protein - 5g
You probably don't need all that info, but I'm anal that way
... 3 net carbs doesn’t sound bad… However I’m just not sure. Especially after entering my food/ exercise on fitday today (for the 1st time) and realized that I must be eating way more than 20 carbs a day… I’m determined now to add up everything on fitday and stay under 20 carbs!!! I’m annoyed with myself because who knows how much more weight I could have lost! Ugh @ me!!!
