  • The poster child for measuring

Yesterday marked 21 days on Atkins. My weights been wonky and bounces up and down Lowest was 225 which was yesterday. Today was 226.5 Hmph. But I heeded the advice of the folks that have 'been there done that" and measured myself on Day Two. I weigh daily (yeah yeah I know) and measure weekly. Last week I had lost 5.5 inches (out of 7 places measured) and this week it was 7 inches (out of 10 places measured). Thats 12.5 inches gone and not even 10 pounds lost. If I didnt measure Im sure I would be a mess since the scale is so freaking slow. But I feel awesome comparing measurements and knowing that what I am seeing in the mirror and on my body, is real. Even if that damned scale would like me to believe otherwise.

Yeah the scale lies. I generally try not to listen to him. My tape measure doesn't lie to me and I like to visit her every week. You are doing wonderful. Watch those inches melt away.

    Keep up the good work
