    Hi Battler

If you have eaten something off-plan then what you need to do is get back on the induction path RIGHT NOW.

Really there is no 'starting again' as you are already on induction, arent you, so just plan your eating and stick to the induction rules for the very next bite. Maybe set yourself a goal of 7 days of 'clean' induction eating and drinking to give your plan some structure?

Keep up with the exercising and drinking your water as well and you might be surprised when you do weigh

Whatever happens to that scale reading on Sunday you now know that sugar alcohols are not a regular part of the Atkins way of Eating, so plan to avoid them from now on and I am sure you will be a big loser in time
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Listen, You didn't mess up. Just re-evaluate what happened and don't let it happen again. Sugar Alcohols are not good for induction. Try and stay away. I did stall during the OWL portion of the diet last go round b/c of the sugar alcohol foods. I quickly saw what was happeing and stoped eating the newly found sweet and started loosing again.

I'd leave the Sugar Alcohol for maint. part of this WOE

Induction is a time to shake off our addictions to sugar/caffiene/etc so look at it like you are working to get that monkey off your back.
When I started Atkins I realized I had some choices....to replace my sweet treats with 'legal' sweet treats but I thought 'Am I really learning anything here?'. All my life I turned to sweets...when I was happy/sad/celebrating/consoling myself, I turned to treats.
So I worked at ditching the sugar monster.
Was it fun? Nope, not really.
Will I eat treats again? Oh heck yes! I have legal treats once in a while.
Do treats rule my life? Do I think all day about that treat in the fridge, planning my day around eating it, emotionally feeling that it will ease all my problems/enhance my happiness?
Nope, I don't do that anymore! I wanted to be able to see them as something pleasant, but not something neccessary, and I'm happy to say I've done that.
        I even forget I have them sometimes...lol

        Just something to think about.

Great advice everyone. Thank you soooo much. I am learning so much from everyone. What you read in any book is a great foundation, but nothing can replace all of your real life experiences. Thanks again and keep the advice flowing!
