Well, just ending my third week on Atkins, first week on extended induction.
I had one slip this week when I went out to eat with a friend, and had mexican food! But I went right back in to my Atkins routine! I felt physically like crap for a couple of days after eating that too.
The good side of it is I think it shocked my body out of it's 3rd week plateau. I had ended my 2 week induction at 249# and have been hovering around 249/250 all week. After I had the slip, yesterday I was up to 251, then last night the whoosie fairy visited me and I weighed in this morning at 246!!
So far in three weeks I have lost a total of 21 pounds! Oddly enough I haven't lost any inches on the measuring tape, but I must not be measuring right or something. I can see the loss in the mirror, and I can feel it in my shirts, just not showing on the tape.
It's odd, seems like it just the opposite for most others, they see it on the tape but not on the scales.
