  • here i go again

Well I orginally started Atkins one month and 1 week ago today.I lost 10 lbs in the first 3 weeks.I did not give up caffeine and I had some concerns over splenda and what was giving me headaches 3 weeks into Atkins.I visited the hospital over concerns of my headaches.Etc Etc.Well, then 2 weeks ago this comming Friday I originally BLEW IT.Ordered Pizza 2 times in the last 2 weeks.Ate out quite a few times as well.Along with numerous other REALLLY TERRIBLE things...Well as of This past Monday I am BAck on INDuction.Im doing a little more strict then last time.I have officially cut out the caffeine since Sunday.I drink decaf coffee now.The headaches and lightheadness I had this time last month well they are back...lol...But hey I did it to myself.I will do it this time.Oh and to top it off I plan to stop smoking by the weekend.I told myself I am NOT buying any more ciggarettes. That is more money I will have to be able to buy Atkins friendly food. One thing I have to work on this time is I think I ate toooooooooooo many veggies on the 1st go around.

oh by the way I gained back 5 of them 10 lbs. I am still drinking tons of water.Im about a gallon and half a day of water ONLY to drink with the exception of my morning decaf.

These goals maybe pushing it but I am gonna give it my all.

Good for you for jumping right back on the wagon. It's much better than turning around one day down the road and realizing you've gained back all of it and then some. Consider that a practice run. This time, it's for real.

induction is probably the best time to quit smoking, get everything over at once! What plans do you have for keeping yourself distracted from cravings, food and otherwise. Have some things in place to keep yourself occupied, along with some extra induction friendly snacks ready to go when cravings hit. Good luck Kram and welcome back!
