Re: frozen veggies
Well, I'm not one of the old experts of the ADBB, but I myself do eat quite a few frozen veggies and it seems to work just fine for me... I've also read that when vegetables are frozen they are "fresh frozen," meaning that they are frozen immediately after they are picked so much of their nutritional quality is still in the veggies as long as you don't cook the heck out of them. In fact, I heard that most frozen veggies can be higher in nutrients than the older fresh veggies in a produce section, especially if the veggies are almost to the point where the grocery store is going to throw them out. Canned veggies are extra-cheap, but I'm afraid to say that their nutritional content does suffer... I use canned veggies only in a pinch.
I'd keep on eating frozen veggies, especially if they suit your budget... I will say that nothing tastes better than fresh-picked veggies from your own garden but winter is making that impossible for lots of folks right now, me included. No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

Vigilance, not perfection.

Re: frozen veggies
My fridge freezes everything, including veggies! Does that count?
No, seriously, I live off of canned and frozen veggies. With just my hubby and I, stuff would go bad before we could eat it otherwise. I love broccoli and cauliflower cooked from frozen, and canned mushrooms too (those keep pretty well raw, though). I don't see a problem with it at all.
