  • One month? Check.

I started a new, healthier life four weeks ago from today, and overall, i'd say that this was definently a change for the better.

So far, i have noticed a few things:
    1. I no longer have overflow from my size 42 pants, they fit just like they should.
    2. When i wake up and hop in the shower, i dont feel like the swamp moster.
    3. As long as i have something to do, i feel energized and awake
    4. I havent fallen asleep in class in weeks
    5. I fit into some of my old collerd(sp?) shirts, and my T-shirts fit much better too.
    6. Im down 20 pounds

All this, and much more im sure, just by changing the food i put in my system (and some occasional exercise). I know i dont post all the time, but i'd like to thank you guys for the non stop support so far. I've got some hard times ahead of me, im sure, but it seems the longer i stick with this WoE, the easier things get.

    Peace out!
    Mike.

          Hey Mike,
I don't post here much anymore, but wanted to say Congratulations. I'm not congratulating you for the loss, which is great (don't get me wrong), but for the decision you made to make yourself healthier!

You're young, and the choices you make today will carry over for the rest of your life. You are wise to tackle this beast at such a young age and I applaud you!

Keep it up and you'll be a healthy and happy you for a long, long time! And yes, congrats on the loss too! Keep up the effort (I don't call it work anymore as it's really not that difficult to eat healthy).

Original goal: Lose 30 lbs by Mar. 1st, 2006. I made it!!!

Calling it GOAL at this point. I'm happy with where I am now and hope to stay there, or maybe even take it down a little more.
