    Thanks Yalll!

    Re: weigh day

Congratulations on the loss - 20 pounds gone is still a great start! You may be suffering the same thing I suffered when I first started. I lost all my comfort or the old stand-by foods. One thing that helped me was going to a good recipe site like Linda's Low Carb and trying new recipes. The alternative is to start OWL and progressing through the rungs. Perhaps the additional food choices would restimulate some of the hunger you seem to be missing. Part of me was glad about the lack of hunger as I knew it was me in control of my eating, and not some uncontrollable urge to eat. It is better to have planned small meal than to skip it, and then face the urge afterwards without anything prepped or ready.

AS Kent said, it is better to plan small meals instead of skipping meals.
If you know you arent likely to be hungry then you do need to mke sure you are getting the best nutrition from the small amount you are eating, so make sure you choose vegetables and snacks wisely - dont eat pork rinds instead of a more balanced snack for instance, and dont eat only iceberg lettuce but choose something with more minerals and vitamins in from the allowed lists.

If you chose something like spinach which cooks down (a cup of raw spinach is only about a spoonfull when cooked) or mushrooms or peppers then you would be getting more nutrition for the quantity eaten too.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Congratulations. I think many of us can relate to that great benefit of ketosis...appetite suppression! I'm rarely hungry but I make sure I eat and follow my Atkins.
