    Re: Cream Cheese

Yes, cream cheese is allowed. It's counted in your daily cheese total of no more than 4 ozs. If it has carbs then they should be counted in your 20 gms total per day.

No problem. Make sure you get the full fat kind and not the low fat kind. The low fat kinds usually have sugar in them.

            Re: Cream Cheese

Just FYI Philly 1/3 less fat cream cheese does not contain any off limit ingreadents and has no added sugar, the ingredents are the same as the full fat variety just less fat

pasterized nonfat milk and milkfat, cheese culture, salt, stabilizers, xanthan and/or carob bean and/or guar gums

serving size 1 oz and <1 carb per oz

Of course fat free contains all kinds of junk and lots more carbs nad probably tastes nasty...but the reduced fat for me tastes just as good and is a bit softer and preforms nicely in recipes too

              Re: Cream Cheese

And on induction we are supposed to count one carb for every ounce of cheese no matter what the actual figures are.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
