    I know you guys probably hear this all the time, but i have to vent. I have been on the diet since March 13th and this is almost the end of my fourth week. I lost 6 pounds the first week and 2 the second, and now i have not lost anything and my size 12s i am trying to get back into are still not fitting. I am so discouraged, cause i have not cheated once and i am so proud of my self for that. This is the strongest i have been in a long time. I measured myself last week for the first time, cause i did not have a measuring tape before then and i measured again today and i have not changed, unless i am doing something wrong there. My shirts feel more comfortable, but they were not that tight to begin with. All the weight is in my hips, butt, and thighs. I exercise at least 4 times a week, try to walk when it is nice out, which has been rare this week, and i do crunches everyday. My thinz metabostix are always purple, so i have ketones present. What is going on?

    here is a thread that may be helpfull as well. Another thought is, when you excersise how hard are you pushing yourself? Are you going for a leisurely walk or are you hardly able to stand when you're done? LOL, ideally you should be breaking a good sweat, getting your heart rate up. Switch up your excersise routines, your body can get used to one thing and stay 'happy' with that, mix in some weight training, biking, aerobics, whatever gets you going. good luck to you!

      thanks, and yes, i am pushing myself a bit, not to mention that i have the double coach with over 35 lbs in it. I am not sure how much the coach weighs but there is definitely some resistance. I also have a recumbent bike and i do a small aerobic workout twice a week on the TV. The bike is usually twice a week too. I wish i could do more, but i really don't have the time with the kids and they get up soooo early to begin with, that i could not possibly think about getting up earlier. I would do it during naps, but i work at home, so have to sqeeeze that in during nap time. It is hard right now, but i am sure i will figure out something.

        Could you post a couple of your daily menus also? We may be able to spot something that you could be missing.

            oh yea, on sunday 4/2 my calories are really low on fitday cause i did not figure out the whooshie pie yet, but that was my dinner.

                well, i am not the biggest veggie eater, so i guess not really. I am trying my best and staying under the 20 grams of carbs, so i would think it really does not matter. Am i wrong. A carb is a carb is a carb, right? if i am not eating any sugar or carbs, then i should be losing weight, wouldn't ya think?

                  Well, the veggies serve two major purposes: (1) they are loaded with nutrients, which are missing from the protein and fat foods, and (2) they are loaded with fiber which is missing from the protein and fat foods!!!! So, try to add veggies. A small salad, a tomato, a little spinach with your chicken. We aren't asking you to eat a garden!!!!!

                  Also, the cheese might be too much. It is my understanding from reading a lot of these posts that cheese can stall you. Maybe lower it? Try it out, see what happens!

                    i will try that, thanks so much. i will cut down the cheese lots and try a bit more veggies. It stinks cause i really like corn, but cannot have that.

                      Hang in there!! Oh, and a carb is not a carb is not a carb! LOL
                      The carbs we should be eating are the healthy ones from veggies, there are so many good ways to make them. I never ate veggies before Atinks (unless you count french fries). I love deep fried green beans, fried cabbage, asparagus with butter, cherry tomatos dipped in bleu cheese dressing, tuna salad on romaine, caesar salad, etc..
                      Also, I didn't lose for 2 weeks after Induction, then moved to OWL and lost 4 pounds. It sometimes just takes your body a minute to adjust to the healthy new you!
                      What would we do without it?
