Im new to this posting thing hope im doing it right. I have been on induction for 18 days now lost 10 pounds the first week and 1/2 started at 162 now 152 been stalled the last few days but i haven; changed my eating habits my goal weight is 125 by sept 15 going on a cruise i drink about 4 cups of coffee a day wi th splena and one diet right soda i eat meat nd eggs daily and absolutly no sugar usually keep my carbs under 20 my first question is can i have green beans on induction? and next question is I bought some flax meal to make some sort of breakfast bars is flax bad during induction what do i do to restart weight loss aside from starvation?

read DR ATKINS NEW DIET REVOLUTION 2002 known as DANDR around here. keeping your carbs under 20 is just the tip of the iceberg. what kind of carbs you have is important too are you eatting your 3 cups of induction acceptable veggies every day? are the other carbs in your diet coming from things like the 4 ounces of acceptable cheese, eggs spices and other acceptable foods or are you just picking anything you want under 20?
Green beans are string beans on the acceptable foods lists and can be had during induction.
Flax can be used during induction for constipation per rule 12 of induction breackfast bars from flax will have to wait for OWL rung 3 when you get to add 5 net carbs of nuts and/or seeds back read chapter 14 about this.
you can make the mock danish and add your 1T flax seed meal to it during induction as a breakfast "bar" but it needs refrigeration for storage.
coffee needs to be decafe and sweetners of any kind are limited to 3 serivngs a day based on manufactures serving size ( a can of diet rite is 1.5 sevings) you are over your limit so you need to cut back on the sweets.
a few days isn't a stall. Stalls are 4 weeks of no weight loss not inches lost. weight loss isn't a linear thing. you will have days of no loss and even some days of gain but overall weight will be downward. Make frinds witrh your tape measure and watch the inches of fat being shed from your body as you morph it working your Atkins both the eating and exercise parts.
What you doing for exercise?
How much water are you drinking? Bren broke her stall in 2003 just by increasing her water intake. read the FAQ on why you need water to lose weight and you will be chugging water all day long.

hi, I beg to differ re the coffee issue as I find it makes no difference to weight loss , and have 2 cups of caffeinated coffee per day with cream (obviously cream with no sugar).
If I take the decaffinated coffee I often get a headache, ok maybe withdrawal symptom, but nevertheless am happy with the way things are going.

You really should avoid Caffeine, it can cause blood sugar spikes, and just really isn't that good for you. Water is much better for you, and there are carbs in coffee.
What would we do without it?
