  • I think it's time for a change

Well, people here, It's been really fun to go through this extended induction with you

But I think it's time for a change for me. I"m doing well. I'm practically to my goal weight and I've gone from size 18 to 12 - almost to 10 right now.

Almost just 10 pounds til my goal! With 50 lbs. of weight loss practically. Who'd think I'd ever be thin again?

So I think I'll be moving on over to OWL. I think I'm ready for round two. I've been afraid to do it because I've been afraid of not being able to lose weight just as fast. But reading all of your posts... it really inspired me.

    It's not a race. It's not a diet. It's a way of life.

And I didn't get myself this way in just 6 months. So i shouldn't expect to be at a perfect body weight in just 6 months either ^^

And I really ought to. Before, after I got done with all my weight loss, I was planning on treating myself to a molten lava desert from Chiles And i probbaly would've gained back all my weight and more as well.

So I should start shaping my eating habbits to one that will last me a life time - WITHOUT making me like a lump beach ball

So starting this Sunday I bid my fellow extended induction atkineers adieu Of course I'll still visit But it's time for me to move on ^^
I will lose weight, I will lose weight, I WILL LOSE WEIGHT!

welcome to OWL (Almost )! Weight loss isnt necessarily THAT slow on OWL. the freedome of foods is invigorating. Learning to feed your body for life is the most important part in my humble opinion. You should likely move up the rungs very quickly as you want those last few pounds to come off very slowlyin premaintenece. Enjoy the foods that are coming back into your life!

Re: I think it's time for a change

Since you've decided to move on with only 10 pounds left, you'll need to adjust your OWL and spend the last 5 pounds in Pre-Maintenance---Dr. Atkins says to spend the last 5-10 pounds in Pre-Maintenance, not OWL.

So re-read your OWL and Pre-Maintenance Chapters in the book.
