  • My favorite Mexican restaurant is not off limits for me!

Not bad. It's been a long standing tradition of my friends in the town where I work to do lunch once or twice a week - it's some of the only time I see them. Our favorite spot for the last 4 years is a Mexican restaurant about a block from where I work.

I decided to tag along today, figuring I'd just have some water and talk with them. I found that I could have a Taco Fajita Salad, hold the taco, without problem! Grilled meat, peppers, mushrooms and some lettuce. I asked, and they said they didn't use anything extra added, so it sounds fairly safe for me. Cut out the rice and beans, and I've got a good lunch.

Good to know that when I need to hang out with my friends on lunch, I can. I don't plan on this being a weekly thing, but I've now got that option.

EDIT: Whoops... somehow I clicked the wrong forum... This was supposed to be in Induction, not extended Induction. Sorry about that.

    Can you eat refried beans?

No. I dumped the rice and beans in addition to the shell. I'm getting less for my money, but I don't care too much, since it's mostly a social event.

How many carbs are in refried beans?

Fitday tells me 55g per 1 cup. They're nowhere near Induction, nor on the acceptable food list. I can do without them, though I miss them. I'm a big fan of mexican food.
