  • I Cheated

    I cheated tonight!!!!!! I didn't even want to and now I am sick to my stomach. It is almost my B-day and my fiance suprised me at work and took me out to eat so I didn't have to cook, Gold Star Chili, a 3way, I guess at least I didn't cheat all out, I did not get a Mt. Dew. I feel so horrible because I have been cheat free for a month and was doing fine with it. I just finally got to 155, I am so scared I am going to gain a bunch of weight from this stupid cheat.
    If anything good comes out of this cheat it is the fact that I feel like sh*t and it wasn't even worth it.

    And to add to it all. I have went from 176 to 155, so needless to say my pants are a little loose. So I went to the store to buy a new pair of pants, Well I can remember being 150-155 and I would wear a 10, what the heck, I am now still wearing a 12/14 (mainly 14). I don't get it. The only way that you can tell I have lost any weight is the fact that my pants are loose. Even my boss who sees me day in day out hasn't noticed a change.... I'm like its 20 Pounds!!!!!!
    Help me feel better please, I feel so disgusted with myself and I feel like I am so biggg!! I have been feeling so good about myself lately.

      I don't really know how to make you feel better except, pick yourself up by the boot straps and keep on going. Make tonight be a new resolve. Keep trying on different styles...you may just find that different cuts of clothing fit differently in different sizes.

        I am going to go at it harder now!! I am just soooo confused about my size and weight loss issues, and I did try on tons of different styles. I just can;t help but to wonder that if I get down to my normal weight of 140 am I even going to be able to fit into my size 8.

          Sorry you are feeling badbut it IS 20 POUNDS! I have also found that the darker the jean the tighter the fit... might seem strange but it has always been true for me in size 7 or size 20 & like Valid said different cut makes a difference too. You just keep at it and it will show & sooner than you think!!!

            you look much different in the second picture, don't worry, the guys notice, they may not know what to say, but they notice....trust me, I'm a guy

                You sound just like I did when I fell off for like 6 weeks. Don't doubt yourself! Your results are real and measurable. We are naturally hard on ourselves and after we start to accomplish something we can still revert back to that cycle. Don't let it derail you!

                  aweee hun I agree with the girls!!!!! Just get back on track!!! I know for me my body changed so much with pregnancies that even if I loose weight my hips are bigger and osme clothes do not fit right even if Ia m down to the wight I was!

                    Congratulations on the 20 pounds lost - over halfway now, Well done

                    But this leads me to ask you - why are you still on induction??

                    With 15 pounds to go you need to start to add more variety to your menus to see how they affect you and prepare your body for food choices when you reach goal!! Induction is only the first 'leg' in this way of eating, dont forget!!
                    In OWL you will discover how many carbs you can eat and still lose weight and learn portion control of foods not on the induction list too.

                    I have found I CAN eat four or five slices of (my husband's) fried potato and not want to eat a whole platefull as I could BA (before Atkins). And one small slice of whole grain bread really fills me up - BA I would have had several slices and felt I could have eaten more!!

                    When we eat at restaurants now I have a much wider choice now I am on the grains rung of OWL, so never feel tempted by the few items I cant have!

                    Pop into the OWL forum and start to read up on how to get started climbing the rungs of the OWL carbohydrate ladder and see how others have enjoyed OWL - the MAIN weightloss stage of Atkins
