In the Atkin's book is says that using a multi-vitamin is good, but without iron? Does anyone know if an iron dosage will be slowing the weight process?

No, the thought is if you eating the iron in the form of meat in your diet you shouldn't need an additional iron tablet. There is also a danger of too much iron if the combination of both your diet and your vitamins, so no danger in slowing down. Just a health danger...Kent - 35-M-6'4"
