  • Help, I'm not losing...

I've been on the extended induction for several days but I'm not losing at all ...it's so depressive since besides the diet I do a lot of workouts....my diet menu goes as follows: breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs
lunch: 2-3 cups of asian-style-cooked meat (seasonings: oil, salt, 1tbsp of soy sauce, 1pkt of splenda) with a 1 cup of tomato
dinner: 2 cups of saulted spinach with mushroom (oil, salt)

workouts: 1 hour cycling and 30 min running

I'm pretty sure that I've strictly followed the rule of eating, but how come my weight doesn't go down at all? Really feeling discouraged...

YOu may not be getting enough to eat for the workouts you are doing. Think of a fireplace you have to keep feeding it to keep the wood (fats in our case) burning.
How about some protein at dinner time? Good luck,I am sure others will be in to critique your menu.

I see..typically I have some meat for dinner/...I just didn't do so last night

ps. I accidently had some tiny pieces of meat cooked with sugar yesterday..only several tiny pieces and I don't think the total amount of 1/2 tbsp of sugar had all gathered onto them...but will it lead to weight stallation? I did a lot of aerobic exercises after eating it and I hope the carb that I had have already been burnt....is in intake of such little suar a big deal?

Do you think it would be better if I completely cut out carb intake in my diet? What about splenda?

For tmr my menu is like this:
      breakfast: eggs
lunch: beef with tomato (seasonings: 1 tbsp of soy sauce, salt, oil)
Lettuce ( saulteed, 1 tbsp of soy sauce)
dinner: vegie soup (spinach) with eggs.

          Re: Help, I'm not losing...

You say you've been on extended induction a few DAYS.....relax and take a deep breath. Frequently our bodies will pause after the initial induction to get adjusted to your new way of life. This happens...really! Stay away from the scale if you can't handle losing EVERY DAY, or every few days. I didn't lose anything during my 3rd and 4th weeks. So, I went ahead and moved into the on-going weight loss phase and added MORE veggies...and the scale began to move again and has continued steadily on a WEEKLY weigh in basis.

Now, I DO weigh every day...sometimes it doesn't move....sometimes it goes UP...but I only count the weight on Tuesday mornings. If I see it going up or not moving a few days...I drink more water.

Keep at it...more than likely it's your body taking a deep breath and adjusting.
