Atkins is dangerous! lol!!

I ended up in accident & emergency last night after my struggle with a 6 inch bladed kitchen knife and a pack of frozen lamb chops!!!! I was trying to separate them!! hehe!!!

I was soo looking forward to them!!

I now have my hand all bandaged up after making rather a large cut across the palm of my hand! It was a nightmare trying to change gear in the car this morning - had to use my little finger and the edge of my hand!!

The nurse told me its usually hamburgers that cause it not lamb chops!!

I think in future I'll use the microwave to defrost them first!!!

I'm still thinking thin - even though I can't feel one of my fingers!! lol

Since I didnt get back from the hospital til late I had the chops last night for my dinner instead!!!! hehe!! they were very delicious!! I may even have them again tonight!!

Death to lamb chops!

Just finished some myself .. I almost cut myself as well! Instead i took to pounding the crap out of them on the bench.

{Wince} Ouch! Have kind of sworn off lamb since theres a field of the darn things right by the house. Slicing your hand open is also a good reason!

I'm not allowed sharp objects myself.... used to work as a chalet cook with a set of company blunt knives - trying to chop 24 peoples worth of carrots and potatoes left me with extreme shoulder pain!
Then a pro chef came in with his knives... even worse: scars all over my hands and fingers, burn marks up my arms, dropped a roasting tin on my head, scalded myself - I am not meant to work in a kitchen: far too clumsy.
