  • Cheating in my dreams

Okay, this is weird. I am in about to begin week 4 and besides being suckered in for a week by those breakfast bars bearing the Atkins name, I have been true to the plan and I just started to lose weight again. But now I have started having the same problem I had since day two of induction...I have dreams where I eat all my old favorite foods and then i realize that I ruined my only chance at losing all this weight and then I freak out. I don't know if it means my body is craving those things or if I just want to lose the weight that badly.

Anyone else have problems adjusting or am I going crazy?

    Re: Cheating in my dreams

For what its worth, I still occasionally have those dreams, and I have been doing strict atkins for 2.5 years!

Bizarre really, but I still dream that I have eaten something I shouldn't have done. To be honest, they aren't as regular as they used to be, but none the less I am still having them.

I hope that makes you feel a little more assured.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

            Re: Cheating in my dreams

Oh yeah, I had those like crazy in the beginning--and like the others, every once in a while now.

I'm so relieved when I wake up and realize I didn't eat junk.
No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

I have those dreams and I'm really mean to myself about it. I get all horrified and start asking myself why in the world I ate that junk. My favorite was, "Oh, no! Doritos are NOT low carb!"
