  • New Perspective

I am on a bit of extended induction, almost ready for phase 2! I have lost 5 lbs so far, but I think the most amazing change isn't in weights or measures. The biggest change for me has been my new outlook on food. Before I was constantly thinking (ie. obsessing) over what I would eat next. Before breakfast was over I was already thinking about lunch or a snack, and after dinner I was focused on something to munch on. Now, I just realized that I barely think about food at all. It has become something I use to nourish myself rather than something constantly on my mind for a quick fix. I completely enjoy everything I eat, but it is easy to stop when I am full and I no longer want to eat constantly. This is the first time in my life I have ever had this healthy of a relationship with food. Thank-you Atkins!

p.s. The weight loss doesn't hurt either. My jeans are almost to the point of falling off after only 5 lbs . I'll take new measurements tonight and post in my signature.
