Well i've been on induction for almost two months now and i'm down 26 lbs. I've definitely seen a slow down in the last couple weeks of my weight loss. i really dont know why as i'm eating the same as before. There are times at dinner that i'm really not hungry and i dont eat so would that cause my metabolism to slow down? I had to redo my measurements as i lost my original starting measurements but a 3 weeks in i remember i'd lost a total of 9 inches. I do have a problem with going to the bathroom on a regular basis. I feel really bloated and my stomache feels really big. Should I try a cleansing tea or laxative? Flax seed? I'm still at 80-100 oz of water a day but I'm only going once maybe every couple weeks. Any suggestions? I really need to break this stall. My goal is to lose 10 lbs in July and another 10 in August (i'm getting married the end of September). I think those goals are pretty reasonable. I'm eating between 9-13 carbs a day more from just lack of appetite than trying to stay low. thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Re: whats the problem?
couple things-
Skipping dinner is a no-no. you need to be eating every 6 hours even if you arent hungry for a real meal. just a lil something to keep you stable.
Pooing- try some flax meal mixed in with cream cheese, psyllium husks are also very good. How many veggies have you been eating? the fiber in the veggies SHOULD be performing that cleansing action. if you are eating mainly from the low list (2 cups per day) and not so much from the higher list, you need to be getting those higher list veggies in. While they are higher in carbs, many are higher in fiber as well. That fiber moves things along.
Another thing to consider, hitting that first rung of OWL to get more veggies in. Those veggies arent going to make or break you but they will give you some bowel relief. If you are only eating 9-13 carbs per day, Id imagine your fiber is also very low. A veggie that ALWAYS works for me is spinach. no matter what it moves stuff along in a healthy manner and not a rip snorting explosion that a cleansing will have.Female, 30

Re: whats the problem?
Congrats on your loss so far. I agree with Tired here...go ahead and move up to more veggies. You sound frustrated, and I can empathize. Adding the extra cup of a high fiber veggie will give you some relief in the bathroom department, and I'd go ahead and add some extra fiber right away in the form of psyllium or ground flaxseed. You can get the psyllium at walmart with the fiber supplements, and the ground flaxseed at a health food store.
Here are some of the higher fiber veggies that I eat (per 1/2 cup serving)
Collard Greens 3.6 g fiber, 4.2 net carb (for 1 cup)
Jicama 3.2g fiber, 2.5 net carb
Brussel sprouts 3.2 g fiber, 3.3 net carb
broccoli, 2.8g fiber, 2.1 net carb
spinach, 2.8g fiber, 2.3 net carb
Turnip greens 2.5g fiber, .6 net carb
cauliflower, 2.4 g fiber 1 net carb
mustard greens 2.1 g fiber, .2 net carb
beet greens 2.1 g fiber, 1.8 net carb
Asparagus 2 g fiber, 1.7 net carb (6 medium spears)
green cabbage 1.7 g fiber, 1.6 net carb
For me, when I added more veggies, it broke my 'pause' and the weight started coming off.~Joy
