I am SOOO frustrated. Ok, this is day 16 of my atkins diet...within the first 7 days, I dropped 10 pounds. It was totally exciting. Then, I joined the gym, and I have been going every day since then. I haven't dropped a pound. In fact, sometimes it's a pound lower. Now, I know I shouldn't be weighing myself everyday, but it's habit. I have never once gotten even the littlelist bit off this diet...never! Here's a typical day for me:
Breakfast: Sausage & Eggs (fried) and a slice or two of cheese.
Lunch: Some type of meat, and one veggie, usually broccoli or cauliflower.
Supper: Some kind of meat, and ALWAYS I eat a salad w/ eggs, cucumber, tomato, and chopped broccoli with the vinegar and oil dressing that you mix yourself...which is only 1 carb, no added sugar.
I have been eating this standard "day" since I started. If I feel like snacking, I usually get some pork skins. I try not to eat so much of these, since I read that they can retain water.
My pants are loose, and I'm getting measured at the gym today, to compare. Maybe something can boost my confidence because the numbers on the scale sure aren't. Can somebody please help me and tell me what I'm doing wrong. I started June 13th, and my goal is 50 pounds by October 6, my birthday. It is possible....and fairly realistic, but I need help, cause nothing is coming off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
