  • Vanilla extract?

    Is vanilla extract induction friendly?

I found a great pumpkin recipe on the board that calls for 1 or 2 drops of vanilla. Everything else in it is allowed on induction. I know we check spices for sugar, but I'm not sure if vanilla counts as a spice or if it even has sugar.

To tell you the truth I never looked at it before. I just looked at mine, it has water, alcohol and bourbon vanilla bean extractive. Whatever that is LOL.

I'm pretty sure we can use it, in small amounts of course.
