  • The Great Weigh-In

    Well its day 15 of Induction and I weighed in.
    From 189lbs..Im now 174!!
    Thats 15lbs on induction.

    I think a lot of that is from breast-feeding because Im burning 500 calories a day.
    Im extra proud of myself because Im an emotional eater and i was really stressed this week and I resisted the urge to eat!
    So 15lbs down...34lbs to go !!
    Im staying on induction until I feel that I cant take it no more..

      You are doing great - well done

      But do make sure you do move on up the OWL ladder and into premaintenance before you are too close to goal to be able to conduct the great Atkins experiment in a leisurely manner.

      OWL is where you will find out which foods affect you adversely and discover your CCLL and hopefully train your body to be able to remain at goal weight for life.

        Yes I will.
        The first time I was on atkins I stayed at 145 for months...I did eat the babd food but went on an induction kick to get it off.I know this is so against Atkins but to be honest..I cant imagine life without a NYC cheesecake...But Im amped !!!!!!

          Go up the ladder and get to the dairy rung so you can have this cheesecake...it's OMG DELICIOUS!!

          I personally think it's the best cheesecake I've had in my entire life, even pre-atkins.

            AS Validrouge said - use a 'legal' lowcarb recipe and make your own! There are many 'legal' cheesecake recipes around!
