  • lost 3 kgs in 2 weeks on induction

    Hi all

I lost about 3 kgs on induction. 2 kgs first week and 1 kg 2nd week.I am 74 kgs now and i wana loose atleast 10 kgs more. My height is 5'4" and I am 28 years.

I wont say I am very happy coz I know I cheated twice else I would have lost more like others. I can only stick to the plan with no cheating. I will extended induction for a while.

I love all of you guys for the incredible help and support.

    happy low carbing

Congratulations on a cheatfree 2 weeks, wishingstar

How much weight do you hope to lose in total?
They say an average amount of loss is 5%-10% of our total hoped-for loss.

Please dont make too much emphasis on losing weight to a schedule. Our bodies lose weight at their own pace, so concentrate on continuing on a cheatfree basis and in time I am sure you will get there.

Are you doing your part with the mandatory exercise too? That will speed things up as you exchange fat for muscle which will use up more calories too!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

If you started out with 13 kilos (28.5 pounds) to lose and have already lost 3 kilos (6.6 pounds) you have done well

We expect to lose between 5% and 10% of the total loss in those 2 weeks and you have already lost over 20%

So keep on keeping on and you will be a big loser

Re: lost 3 kgs in 2 weeks on induction

Thanks dear that really meant a lot to me. I want to lose a total of 17 kgs, that’s about 37 lbs, as my first goal.

I don’t exercise but I’ve just noticed that I lost a lot of inches.

Can some people lose inches while others lose weight?

I still want to lose the weight before going back to school; I’m done with being "the FAT girl you can't mess".

Great work!! I agree, our body does lose at its own pace, so keep it up, and stay cheat free. Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!!

Re: lost 3 kgs in 2 weeks on induction

Yes the others are right - exercise is as important as eating right on Atkins.

I was one of those people who really didnt want to make time to exercise and so apart from walking several times a week I didnt do any gym-type exercises whiole losing 140 pounds.

So now I look good in clothes but fairly saggy in a swimsuit or skimpy summer clothes - imagine the skin on a sharpei dog and you can imagine what I looked like under my new smaller clothes.

But I joined a gym in April and after doing weights and cardio for a couple of hours 3 times a week I am REALLY seeing the results as my arms, thighs and midriff are starting to firm up now.

I know you havent got nearly as much excess to lose as I did, but dont do as I did - get into exercise NOW!!
