  • Starting extended induction tomorrow

    I want to extend my induction for another two weeks. Last week I weighed myself and I had lost 4lbs, I asked my DH to take my scale away and only bring it home once a week which will be Tuesday, so I am not sure if I've lost since last week!

    With the amount of weight I've got to lose do you think I should stay on induction for another two weeks????

      you need to read again Chapters 12-14 of the book. Dr.A. explained things very well there about going from induction to OWL

        Thanks for the link kk55. I will take some time to read the the suggested chapters Nico, but like most people here I am scared to move out of Induction! See how I feel after I've read Dr. A. again.

          The first OWL rung is just the addition of 5 net carbsworth of the induction list of vegetables, so nothing to get scared of there. Try adding them and see how you get on.

            The choice is really yours to make. You are going to loose weight a bit slower because you dont have alot to loose to begin with. I think I was loosing like 2 lbs a week when I got closer to my goal. IMO I would move on, simply because you really dont have much to loose and Atkins is supposed to be a way of life, not a diet plan to loose those 10 lbs and go back to the old way of life. If you do this your going to find that most likely you are going to put the weight back on plus some.
