I had the greatest day today. One on my co-workers who know I'm doing this told me that my tummy looked flatter (guess it wasn't totally sticking over the waistband of my jeans today) and another co-worker who doesn't know that I'm doing this asked me if I was loosing weight. Woohoo. Then, this Karate teacher (in really good shape) asked me for a date. I'm not going on the date, but it really made me feel good.

Great job. Before I started a month ago I felt so useless and my self-esteem was in the gutter. Last week after 3 weeks of dieting and 17 pounds lost I go to my college orientation. I honestly felt like the life of the party, I was charismatic, meeting people left and right, and the girl I really liked asked me for my number. I look in the mirror and while i'm still a bit away, I feel good knowing that i'm 289 rather than the 307 I was last month. I see my chest picking up, my stomach getting flatter, and my pants sag..pants that barely fit me a month ago. I can't wait to see how I look down the line.
