I'm trying to lose at least 20 more pounds by September. My workout is playing basketball with my brother, and afterwards I feel like I did a full workout at the gym. My question is is it ok to play 2 days and rest one? Or should I do it every day?

Re: I'm somewhat worried...
Most people recommend exercising 3-5 times per week for at least 20 minutes a session (or something near to that). Within that framework, you should adjust up or down as your body seems comfortable. Overdoing it could injure you or cause you to lose interest in the sctivity due to burnout. I think a rest day is a great idea!Jennifer

Re: I'm somewhat worried...
I used to play softball and I understand the need of resting after a full work out.
So I think that maybe... just maybe... you should try some basic exercises in your "rest" day, like low impact aerobic or Pilates. In this way you'll not stress your body every time you play basketball.
