  • My mother prepared some beef...

    and put BBQ sauce in it. I ate 3 smaller pieces unknowingly, and a few more after rinsing them out. My worry is that I will get out of ketosis..she said she only put a slight amount, but i'm worried i'll be knocked off ketosis.







    Starting Weight: 307-310
    Current Weight: 220
    Short Term Goal Weight: 225 by May 1st (met)
    Long Term Goal: 215 pounds by June 12th (almost there!)

    I think u will be fine. Are you doing any exercise? If so just do an extra 5 mins on what ever you do. Drink an extra litre of water for the next few days to flush out the toxins.

    Did Atkins on and off from Feb 2005 until April 2008. Fluctuated between 15 st 1/211lbs and 11 st 1/155lbs.
    On different weightloss programme from 28th May 2008 start weight 14 st 11/207lbs.
    Current weight 10st 3lbs/143lbs.
    Ultimate Goal Weight 9 st/126lbs.

      Regular BBQ sauce is generally about 8g per TBS, which is a good amount, and I doubt you ate near that much. I would not worry too much about it, but I might have a conversation with my mom about what I can and can't eat. She might respect you enough to warn you first if she prepared something like that again.

        stop worrying if you do you do if not you don't.. either way you are moving in the right direction forward ..right?
