  • Hi everyone...

Hi all ~ i am officially starting extended induction today! I am down 8 pounds since i started induction two weeks ago, and now i have decided to stay on induction for a little while longer since i have so much to lose. I feel good and i am not bored with my choices yet. I have learned that i need to space out my veggies during the day more than i have been. Just taking it one day at a time...

I am also planning on easing back on the daily weigh-ins. I weighed in this morning and then put the scale on the shelf in the closet until Sunday morning. Then i'll see how week one of extended goes. Too much pressure weighing everyday... although i would be lying if i said i don't think about it first thing in the morning - and look forward to seeing if yesterdays hard work paid off!

It isn't about that though, right?! This is a lifestyle and a lifetime path, not a race...

Just wanted to check in with you all since i am moving over from the 14-day induction forum!

    Re: Hi everyone...

Congrats on your success so far! I extended induction too and am not in any hurry to move up. I'm one of those who is scared but I'll take the plunge soon. I think I'm going to take 2big's advice when I do move and stand on the veggie rung for a while, there's really no need to be in a hurry. There are so many good things we can have on induction that it's easy to not get bored too.

I should put the scales away too, but it's the first thing I run to in the morning. LOL ! Maybe I'll try to join you in boycotting them until Monday morning. (Try... LOL !)

      Hi Cristy ~

Thanks! I'm with you - i am not going to stay long on extended, but i am going to climb the rungs very slowly. The scale thing is hard, i know! We'll see if i cave tomorrow... i hope not!
