Is 500mg too little or just right?

I think helps with fat metabolism. Saw on other threads that others were trying it. Not totally sure.

I take L-Carnitine for my heart. It is suppose to shuttle fat into the energy centers of the cells, where it can be burned to produce energy. It sort of helps your cells furnace work at peak efficiency, and so cells burn more fat and generate more energy. Burning fat prevents the accumulation of excess fat in the heart, liver and muscles and so it helps prevent heart disease, diabetis and high tryglyceride levels.
Don't take the D, L-carnitine though, make sure you only take just the L If you eat a diet high in red meat you probably don't need to take a supplement. 500 mg is the normal amount.
