  • Pizza??

    Hello,

I made the pizza from the recipe that Bikergoddess has and it was wonderful. I just want to know if anyone has the carb count in it and also has anyone reheated this in the micro/oven, and how does it hold up?

    Re: Pizza??

IF you have a fitday account you're better off putting the ingredients in and figuring it out for the pizza you made. Differences in cream cheese brands and the types of toppings/sauce you used, give that recipe very individual carb count.

      Re: Pizza??

I agree with the Fitday suggestion. Everyone seems to make this a little differently. When I make it, instead of the 13X9 pan, I use three 9 inch pie plates for my "crust", use one and freeze two of them.

The crust is also good to be used as a basis for an Atkins style "tostada". It isn't crunchy, but it has good flavor if you like Mexican food. I layer some beef or chicken spiced with some hot sauce or chili powder, some cheese, roasted and diced veggies (peppers, tomatoes) and top it with some lettuce and sour cream.

When you are alone in your head, you are in a bad neighborhood.

Irish, that sounds wonderful. I am definately going to try that. Thank you for that idea.
