  • The big question

Hey everyone. I am Jess, and I am on day 13 over in the STAC board. I am closing in on the end of my 14 day induction...I am sure every body in the world has asked this question....What is the criteria for going on, or staying on induction for another week?

I have been doing very well as the days have gone by. I need to loose approx.80 lbs.. I don't own a scale so I will not be weighing in on Tues day 15.
I would like to go another week....Is this ok? I just shopped for one more day...

Thanks, i am sure this one has been asked a million times.

    Re: The big question

This is my second time on this woe. Last time I stayed on extended induction because that was the advice I was given since I had so much weight to loose. I got bored with the food and my weight stalled. Then I gave into temptation started cheating and ended up going off the program.

This time I am going to go on to OWL. That way I have the reward of adding new food as I move up the rungs. I am not sure how long I will stay on each rung. I guess I will just see how things go.

Really Jess, it's up to you. Are you OK with the way you are eating? Or are you getting bored? I was happy eating induction for a long time, so it didn't bother me. But then, I think I stayed on too long because I got scared to move up the rungs. Once I finally did move up the rungs I was losing again. One more week will not hurt you, if that is what you are wanting to do. The first rung is only more veggies though, so think about it.
        Good luck to you!

          Re: The big question

read chapter 13 of your DANDR and answer those questions your replies will tell you if you should move or stay. then if you decide to stay ask yourself those questions again and again every day so you MOVE before you jump off.

Many folk do very well with the extra veggies of rung one and take as much time on each rung ( I call it squatting) as they feel comfortable doing just those foods. The extra vits and minerals from the rung one 5 net more veggies can go a long way towards keeping your body in peak condition as you exercise and shrink.
