  • Day 15

Hi everyone- I am on day 15 and have decided to stay on induction for
a little while longer. I'm doing okay with the eating plan- finding lots of variety on the recipe forums so I'm going to stick it out as long as I feel good. I still haven't weighed myself because I'm really afraid I'll be dissapointed- I am having dreams about weighing myself- that's how crazy I am over this scale thing. Moment of glory though this morning- I tried on a shirt I got 2 years ago and it fit for the first time- not just fit but was loose. I actually yelled out "Yipee".
I think my dogs(I have 2 beagles and a basset hound) think I'm crazy. Oh well. I'm really starting to see the changes. I love it!

        Re: Day 15

Not stepping on the scale does take a lot of will power.. on the other hand, I like will die w/o stepping on it a few times throughout the day. The scale is my motivator and my "keep on track" ticket. It helps me a lot to stay on track. I know.. most say that's bad, but to me it's helped me very much. I'm on extended induction as well.. In fact today is day 21. You will do awesome I'm sure! Just remember a pound lost is a pound you don't have to lose still.. keep up the hard work!

woo hoo for you. i have to say in my 3 yrs at ADBB this is the first day 15 YIPPPEEEEE post that doesn't mention the weight lost.

congrats on your shirt fitting looser.

I know you don't want to weigh but read chapter 12-14 of your DANDR and you will see why that number is important for you if you did a CHEAT FREE 14 day induction
