Hello! I was just wondering what everyone eats for breakfast! I am so tired of eggs... scrambled eggs, fried eggs, eggs with cheese, and other veggies... Just curious as to what everyone else eats! Thanks!

Re: Induction Friendly Breakfast???
I have bacon occasionally. Or as Megs said, I often have left overs also.
One of my favouite breakfasts is a basic couple of slices of bacon and some mushrooms.sigpic260/215/180 Male - 36 y/o
It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!
I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Try a Mock Danish - WONDERFUL! Lifesaver!
This recipe is from the board here: (I add 1 heaping teaspoon of Flax to mine - it gets my Flax in AND makes it have more texture. Also be sure and save a teeny bit of the cream cheese for frosting)
Mock Danish
one serving
2 oz cream cheese (2)
1 large egg, beaten(0.6)
1 packet Splenda(1)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract(0.3)
Put cream cheese in a small, microwave-safe dish. Microwave on high for about 1 minute or until softened. Remove from microwave. Stir in the egg, Splenda and vanilla extract into the cream cheese. Put back into microwave and cook on high for 2 minutes.
Total carbs: 3.9 grams
Fiber: 0 grams
Net carbs: 3.9 grams
Cheese allowance: 2
Sweetener allowance: 1
*Note: Cream cheeses vary in carb count. So be sure to check your packages. Also note that some people add a tablespoon of fiber supplement to their Mock Danish to give it a more "bready" (sturdy) texture. If you do this, you MUST include the the fiber supplement carbs.
Good luck! There are ALL kinds of alternatives. This WOE is FANTASTIC!

I love the flax cakes myself
1 Tbls butter
3 Tbls ground flax
1 egg
Pinch of splenda
1 tsp baking powder
1 Tbls pumpkin pie spice or cinamon
Melt the butter in the microwave, then stir in the rest of the ingredients. Make sure you mix well! Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Pop out and eat. Absolutely fabulous.Paul

Re: Induction Friendly Breakfast???
I make something called ham hash. It is a combination of ham (or turkey), mushrooms, onions and peppers. Sometimes I add diced tomatoes. And somedays, I just drop a poached egg on it. The good thing is that I saute enough for a few days and have it available anytime.

Re: Induction Friendly Breakfast???
I make smoothies and they can be induction friendly
avocado, pumpkin or even raw rhubarb goes great in the blender with a little cream ice and some flavoring you can even use a shot of SF flavored syrup like Davinci if you are inclined
you can also have red pepper with cream cheese, celery with cream cheese ..use jicama slices as "bread" and put stuff in them ....you are limited by only your imagination

This sounds good and I opened a can of ham (Same size as a can of tuna) that tastes too salty to me so I'll do your hash!Originally posted by IrishIrishI make something called ham hash. Re: Induction Friendly Breakfast???
My breakfasts are often fajita chicken salads or smoked sausage stirfry (onion and green peppers). Most of the ingredients could be prepped well in advance, so making the food in the morning only takes the time to heat it up. Leftovers are good too, but that usually is doesn't occur in my house.Kent - 35-M-6'4"
