    sugar limit

    i cant find where it says you can only have 3 grams of sugar or less somebody please help how do people know this info?

    If you're talking about table sugar (sugar cubes, etc.) or anything made with that, you can't have it at all.

      We are allowed 3 servings of sweetener a day (preferably Splenda as opposed to aspartame). Is that what you are referring to? I don't have my book at work with me, but I know Dr. Atkins did set out a limit on it.

        well i noticed that the bacon from wendys has some sugar in it less than a gram and my fiber has natural sugar in it its not listed in ingredients because its pure flaxseed but in ingredients it says 4 carbs 3 fiber 1 sugar and also a tomato slice has 1 gram of sugar so do these count toward my allowed 3 sugars?

          No, you don't count natural sugars in fruits and veggies. You should try to get sugar-free bacon (ham, deli meat, salad dressing, etc.) Read the ingredients on labels to see if sugar has been added. You don't want any added sugar. As Megs said, it's not allowed.
