Hi all -
I joined the no weigh challenge and it was so hard as I am a slave to my scales. Well it ended today so I hadn't been on a scale for two whole weeks!!!
I was very nervous as I felt that I hadn't been loosing so when I got on the scales this morning I was braced for the worst - maybe even having gained weight.
Well, I was so suprised to see that I had lost 6 lbs in the two weeks that I'd been on the no weigh challenge
so my total weight loss is now 27 lbs!!!!
I have never lost this much weight in such little time and have not had to go hungry or feel deprived.
So I feel like a big loser today and I'm smiling from ear to ear.
I think what did it for me is that I upped my water intake and joined an informal water challenge and I am making sure that my fat intake is kept up. I noticed, for me, that eating lean meats and hardly any fat didn't make the scale move. I don't skip meals and normally eat 6 times a day - another Atkins plus! I eat all my veggies and monitor my cheese and splenda intake daily. It just goes to prove that if you follow this woe as it's spelled out in the book, you can be successful.
I also think that the no weigh challenge was good for me and I'm ready to join another one if anyone is starting one.
And last, but certainly not least, is
- there's so much information and support here that you can't help but be a big loser!!!
