  • Seriously need some help... if you're sensitive you may want to skip this post.

    Hey Gang,

Ok, so Im doing extended induction, going to be doing this all the way until I get within 50lbs of what I need to be (started 550, down to 485) and feeling fine.... HOWEVER....It hurts, when I go to the toilet.. well thats not right, it does not hurt when I go errrr and take a poo it hurts with the wiping part, not all the time, its kinda like 3 days no pain... 2 days of pain, then repeat....

Ive cut down on cheese and beef intake, and am doing about 15grams of carbs a day... tf anyone has any ideas, please, please share them before I go crazy

(Ive even started getting the quilted paper as well)

Hey and Im sorry if this is a weird thing to mention, but believe me Ive got nowhere else to turn.

coat with desiten cream and use wet wipes until less sore. Question off the subject but just got to no. Did you say you stated on the 30th of sep and stated at 550 in sep of last month now 1 month later down to 485. If this is correct this is amazing let me know your secret because i'm doing somthing wrong.

Try to keep things 'soft' so as to reduce the hurt. Flax, water ++, high fibre veggies, olive oil....

It sounds like you might just have an irritation there. That happens sometimes. You need to use soft TP. Also what helps in my house, is having the moist towelettes that come in the "wippe" pack. Like cottenelle, or wet ones helps.

See your doctor. You could have something else going on. Pain in that area isn't normal, and anything abnormal involving pain there should be checked by your physician. It may have nothing to do with the diet and instead be caused by a yeast infection or other infection. Err on the safe side, and go before it gets worse and you're stuck after hours with a worsening condition that could be very easily treated.

had that problem for along time, had the back end scoped and 2 doc's check it out!
They said nothing found. Well tell my bloody porthole! I feel your pain! Thats one of the reasons I am doing the plan. Your situation sounds similar. Clean, clean, clean. Dry the area very well and then use a barrier ointment like for baby rash. Use the wipes and don't leave home without them! The flareups are caused by minor leakage or just inadequate cleaning, even if you think your touche is spotless, which create bacteria which irritates the nether regions, which creates more problems. If I don't have the wipes I soak some tissue in water from a sink and clense the area. Sorry for the lack of encouragement, but that would be a probable solution.
Seems like the advice before this is sound! Try to follow it!

Baby wipes!!!! They get it way more clean than TP alone and are much more softer and gentler for that area. if its hemmoroids you might feel it swollen and puffy back there as you wipe but if they are internal then you wouldnt feel anything. hemmoroids can hurt one day then not the next and then again another like that so maybe thats it. Sitz baths help with that. I think the baby wipes will do wonders though! (creams like diaper rash will help very quickly as well used with the wipes).

Yea, I was sort of wondering about hemroids too...not sure if that's it, but I had them once after the birth of one of my kids and I do remember some pain when wiping. If you have had any constipation, the increased pushing may have irritated you.

Ummm, as I recall, I think there are some hemroid wipes that you can get, if you don't like to wipe cream all over you arse. I bought a little jar of whatever these wipes were and they worked wonders. Sorry I can't remember the name of them, it's been awhile.

Is it WitchHazel? (The main ingredient) I had to use those after the birth of my daughter. Lifesavers!!

A friend of mine here at work just called me today, she has been out for 3 days after having a "rectal tear" repaired. She had no idea (it was internal) but did have pain, and diahrea.. doctors also found 2 fissures and 2 polyp. Guess what, she is signifigantly overweight too.
                        I'd ask a doctor!

I was thinking hemroids. I had them while I was pregnant and they can really hurt. I used Preperation H and the Tucks pads - the main ingedient in these is witch hazel. The worse thing you can do for hemroids is to strain. Make sure you are getting plenty of fiber and drinking lots of water. Also, it might help to take a stool softener. I was always told to use stool softeners after I gave birth and it helps you from straining so hard.

                          Good luck!
