  • A little boo-boo today

    I dont post much. Just lurk. But I had to share this with you.

    I make up 5 days of salad on Sunday night. I chop up all the ingredients and put them in bowls with lids along with dressing in a little bowl with lid (so its seperate from the salad) and keep in refrig. Take one out per day when I'm making breakfast so I dont forget it.

    Today I was in a bit of a hurry and took the salad out of the fridge and put it in my bag to go to work. Lunch is almost alway rushed at work. No official "lunch time" just eat between clients (I'm a hair dresser in a very busy salon). When I sat down to eat my lunch, I noticed I didnt put in my protien. UGH!!! No time to get to the store so I just ate the salad without the protien.

    After about 45 minutes I got a headach, sweating and tummy very hungry. Busy until 3:00 and then went home. I immediatly made 2 hamburgers with cheese and mayo (my favorite quickie meal). Its around 8:00 and I'm still full!!!

    Since I have not eaten much today and I'm not hungry, should I try to eat more protien now? I still need another cup of veggies. Should I eat just that right now?

    I've had almost all my water today.

    my advice is if you're not hungry, don't eat something just to eat the "right" amount of something for the day. i wouldn't stress about it at all...plus you still ate low carb even though you were hungry and forgot part of your lunch, good job!

      nope just go with what you had. missingf one day will not put you in starvation mode eating your muscle tissue.

      you did right feeding only the hunger. if you get hungry then by all means eat.
