Hi there! im new to this board and going on the atkins diet for the 2nd time.I am on day 3 and feeling great! My goal is to lose 40 pounds by spring so about 6 months.I am 5'6 currently weigh 202 pounds I was on atkins diet around 5 yrs ago, it did wonders! after both of my pregnancies, i came back up again.I am hoping it will work this time around.

I have been a lurker past 2 weeks, and seeing how successfull most of you have been , and seeing the before and after pictures, has given me the motivation to go back =) I know i can do it!

so i began this diet not by planning it, but just lurking this forum and saying ok im on the diet as of today! so i am not really PREPARED !! i have the Atkins book somewhere and desperately looking for it i pretty much remember most of what i can eat and what i cannot, but i seem to have forgotten what not allowed on induction.

so pretty much what i have been eating is boiled eggs with sausage, lettuce with ranch, and only chicken. I have not been eating vegetable because i am not sure if i can.

I am starting to lose my appetite on my 3rd day, because i have been eating the same foods each day, i dont think i can eat the same thing over today.

Can someone give me some ideas of what else i can eat on induction? recipes? things i can do with my chicken? lol(sorry for babbling so much )

    Thanks, Joanne

I found the acceptable fooods allowed on induction. Wow i dont remember being allowed to eat so many types of vegetables on induction? Has this changed in the past 5 years?
