Re: question
I know some members have used 'slim in 6' videos for their chosen exercise with success, although I gather the whole system advocates a particular diet which may not be like Atkins, so I think they just used the exercise part of it.
I think ANY exercise you enjoy is going to be good for you so I would say 'go for it'!!Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Re: question
Slim in 6 will be great for you! Since it's an intense program, don't be discouraged if at first the scale is not showing big losses like you want. You will be replacing fat with MUSCLE, which is more dense. This means it weighs the same, but takes up less room...so your clothes will be getting looser, you will feel better, but the scale might only show a 1lb. loss. But this is a good thing, because muscle is an active tissue--you burn calories just to maintain it, where as fat is inactive...it just sits there, well, getting fatter.
Before you start--it would be a good idea to take measurements if you haven't already. A lot of times people on intense training programs like this will not lose as much weight as they'd hoped, only to find they lost 2x as many inches as they'd imagined!START 8/16/06 @ 270+~MG1: 220-12/2/06~MG2: 210-1/07~MG3: 199-3/2/07~MG4: 190-4/27/07~MG5: 180-7/04/07~GOAL: 170
