  • Millionth time around question

This is my probably millionth time around at this WOL. The first time I tried it I succeeded in loosing 22 lbs. Then I got married. No excuse, just got comfortable and started to eat horribly and unhealthy again and managed to gain back 11 lbs. Since then I have restarted many times with only a result of failure. The only thing that I can think of for my failures is that I wasn't strong enough to resist the temptations that I came upon and also not being prepared. I have once again started back on this WOL about two weeks ago with positive eating during the week. Unfortunatley during the weekends I will eat whatever. I have decided that this will simply not do. I have decided to eat healthy all week long, including the weekends. I have noticed that my weight loss from the first time to the many times after have been different. The first time I tried this, the weight seemed to just melt off. The many times I tried afterwards, the weight stuck like glue.

Has anyone else had a hard time at a second (millionth) time around at this WOL?

Also any support and help is so very much appreciated.

    Re: Millionth time around question

If you do this every week, the diet you are on isn't the Atkins WOL. It may be the Atkins induction phase 5 days per week, but if you eat whatever every weekend, you just started all over. Get Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (2002 edition) and you will find your answers.

In a nutshell the answer is yes, nearly all of us!

      Hi Kelly
We have even started a special forum called the 'Second Time Around Club' forum (STAC) for people like yourself having a hard time restarting, so you are not alone
      http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...aysprune=&f=82
so why not pop over there to introduce yourself and join in all the supportive posts that are made there every day.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!
