Well this is day 35 for me and I'd just like to post an update on my progress and perhaps give a little hope to those who feel they are not losing weight quickly enough!
So far I have lost approximately 16lbs (official weigh in is tomorrow) I must admit when I first began Atkins I had expected to lose loads more weight than this...I had heard all the hype and believed the 7lbs a week losses!
I've lost an average of 3lbs a week but much more important are the 22 inches
of flab that have gone from all over!
Yes it would be lovely to see a massive drop in weight but at the end of the day...only I can see the number on the scales, far better to have inches melt and allow everyone else to see what a difference Atkins has made to me!
I was approximately this same weight 1 year ago...but I wasn't this size...that's what's so brilliant...I have finally managed to move down a clothing size and can now fit into clothes which were too small/tight at this same weight last year!
So that's all I really wanted to say...don't be discouraged by what you consider a slow weight loss...inches lost are far more important in proving this WOL works!
