    I know i've ask other question about this stall. I think I need to go into more details about my life to get a accurate answer. I had a baby Dec. 06 he's lil over 3 months now. First 5 days on atkins I had my 1st after baby TOM. Then 16 days after that I started my TOM again. I've never had a cycle that short in my whole life. I have PCOS "reason 4 going on atkins", I have only lost during my 2 week induction "12 pounds". I'll be starting week 5 on sunday of adkins have not lost anything after 1st two weeks. I drink over a gallon of water a day. I walk 20-40 mins every morning. Could it be hormones from after baby causing a slow loss? could it be my hormones are all wacked out 16 day cycles... what caused that? I cut out splenda and my one a day diet pop several days ago it's made no diffrence. Of course i'm not going to throw in the towel on atkins but this stall really has me concerned. I'm doing the suplements / fitday/ water / exercise/ no hidden sugars/ my body is all messed up. I'm going to keep doing what i've been doing can hormones or after baby stuff cause this NO MORE loss?

    -Start weight : 244 2/19/2007
    -Current : 171 12/21/2007

    -goal weight : 140ish-150

    RESTART 4/1/2010 WEIGHT 241 GOAL 150.
    Went totally off atkins now i'm right back where I started in 2007. 75 POUNDS were lost and gained BACK AUGH.

    Have you taken your measurements? Sometimes we lose inches but the scale doesn't register any loss. For example, I've only lost 2 lbs, but have lost a total of 5.5 inches since I started again.

    Hormones and TOM can really wreak havoc. That's probably what the problem is. Just keep pushing on and it'll all work out.

      12 lbs in 2 weeks? That is fantastic, what do you mean a slow loss?

        I'd second what Tigger says... take your measurements, you could be building muscle, particularly if you've added extra exercise. Could be the hormones too....

        Patience... I'm sure your losses will start up again soon.
