    So tired...

Not from the diet, from the 20 month old! Anyway, after several days of her poor sleeping, I am wiped. I don't want to add caffeine back into my diet, though. Any suggestions on how to perk up for work?! Thanks!

turn your shower on really cold, then jump in. It may make you a little irritable, but it will definitely make you wide awake as well.

Add a short walk outside to your day, or a couple times a day. Sometimes taking a break and taking a brisk walk in fresh air revitalizes me.

Thanks guys! Made myself go to the gym at lunch, so that helped some. I'll likely take your advice and get outside for a minute in a couple of hours if I start feeling drowsy. No cold shower tho, too late - I was already at work. I'll remember that for tomorrow if she's still not sleeping though!

i have a 3 month old who sleeps poor before atkins oh my gosh i was dragging my rear to get thru a day now after 5 weeks on atkins I have energy i walk every morning i'm only getting broken up 3-4 hours of sleep thru the night any givin day i'll bet i only get 6-7 hours of sleep that's never all at once he wakes up sometimes every 3.5 hours. I am so thankful i started this diet before coffee was the only jolt of energy i could get lol. I'm feeling less stressed too with the baby. The morning walks help me soooooooooooo sooo much with having energy the rest of the day. I have not had coffe in over a month.

You poor thing! At least mine sleeps - eventually! I've since learned that she's taught herself to throw up on purpose. So that's what she's been doing nearly every night for the last two weeks! I sincerely hope it passes quickly! I'm only on decaf myself. I don't want to get any caffeine in my system again right now since I feel pretty good without it on normal days! (Plus the headaches are gone!)
