  • Day 32-22lbs gone

Hi I'm new here, but not new to atkins, although this is the first time I've really commited and havent cheated. For some reason this time I am ready to do what it takes and my mind is in the right place. I plan on staying on extended induction until my last 5-10lbs due to being severly insulin resistant (only lose on induction).
Really encouraged by everyones posts..even set backs teach me something(like the fact that I cant lose with sugar alcohols at all).

Thank you Iwillbethin, im about in the same boat you were when you started out...and we are the same height.

I like to see other people about my height and size when they started out to see what I can accomplish and what to look forward to when I get to those weights.

Congratulations...isn't it encouraging when the weight just "melts" off like that.

Best wishes at the speed you're going you'll be nearing that goal fairly quickly.

Hi there! WTG on the weight loss to date! I also love seeing other peoples accomplishments! One suggestion to really see a ton of weight drop off, (if it is ok) maybe you could try joining an exercise challenge? Go to the exercise forum and browse around to find one you like! Happy lowcarbing! I look forward to seeing some before and after pics!

after almost 5 months on Atkins and over 63 lbs down! Watch for updates!

Thanks for all the encouragement...hubbys girl, i am working out...would be great to have to answer to some one when i dont have a great week.

Well I managed to get a pic on there...my teens would be proud . This is from last year but its about where i was at when i started :259.
I'll try and post a "during" later tonight but my son has the digital camera right now.
I wear scrubs to work and today with my formerly tight, draw string waist scrubs, I pulled them down to go to the bathroom(sorry tmi) and forgot to untie them and they came down NO PROBLEM! I was so excited I ran to tell my co-workers and I said "Guess what I did in the bathroom?" They were all like "gross...dont tell us". I started laughing so hard I couldnt tell them what I really did for a couple minutes.

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

                          Re: Day 32-22lbs gone

Thanks so much guys...I know we are all in the same boat. It makes it easier to do this knowing that not everyone in the world can eat whatever they want and stay little. Just seeing everyone on here working so hard makes me realize I cant feel sorry for myself...this is just how it is.

I'm a single mom of 5 and just like my name says, I plan on doing "more 4 me in 07". While its unavoidable to sacrifice for your kids (and Im not saying you shouldnt), if you sacrifice everything including your health, you wont be around to see what you did it for.

                          Keep it up guys!
