  • I'm getting serious now.

Thanks to this diet which I started in June I have dropped from 310 pounds to my current 240 pounds. I haven't been the most faithful this last year though and I have veered off path A LOT. Now I'm getting serious because I don't want to slow my weightloss down, I still want to lose another 25 pounds before June 12th (My 19th birthday)

So I am starting induction again and working out a lot harder than I did when I first started. I lost about 20 pounds on induction the first time. Should I have comparable results if I stay on path? I screwed around so much this year that i would stay on ketosis 2-3 days at a time and that was it...But I am serious now. Based on my weight loss so far how long would you predict it will take for me to lose that last 25 pounds?

    Starting Weight: 307-310
    Current Weight: 220
Short Term Goal Weight: 225 by May 1st (met)
Long Term Goal: 215 pounds by June 12th (almost there!)

    It is difficult to say
Unless you have been highcarbing with lots of junk food you may well not have extra 'water weight' to lose, so might not see a large woosh in the first 2 weeks like someone with lots to lose who has never lowcarbed before would.

And of course you are not starting from such a high initial weight either, so the 'normal' 5-10% of your total hoped-for loss of about 25 pounds would work out at between 1-3 pounds.

I would suggest doing a 'clean' induction till you are in ketosis and having no cravings etc then moving straight to OWL and reclimbing the rungs.

BTW if you are working out extra hard you might start building muscle while you lose fat so not losing actual scale weight, so make sure you take measurements for an extra way to judge your progress.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
