fat/protein/carbs ???

  • fat/protein/carbs ???

    i'm having some trouble getting my % right. for example today i was 76% fat 3% carbs and 22% protein. any ideas on how to up my protein without increasing my fat? thanks guys
    starting weight-250 (01/09/2010)
    goal weight- 180
    4'10, female
    SECOND TIME AROUND!!!! I DESERVE TO DO THIS FOR MYSELF!!!!!!

    How about some chicken breasts? Lots of protein and very low fat.

      I wouldn't stress too much about the percentages... especially in the early stages of this programme. They're only meant to be a rough guide. If you're feeding your hunger only, eating within the carb limit of your current Atkins phase, and only legal foods, you'll be fine.

      If you are really troubled though, non oily fish, chicken breasts and some of the leaner cuts of pork and beef are all good. Or you could try just reducing the amount of dressing on salads etc... or maybe be wary of the cheese. It only takes a small tweak to the fatty foods to make a difference to the percentages.
