    Have got to confess something!
    Nearly 4 weeks on atkins.
    I am trying to think of an excuse for my behavious but prob have not got a really good one - I had a really bad craving and don't know if it was for chocolate or nicotine - gave up smoking 8 weeks ago and have just come off the patches. Any how - this easter egg with lovely choccies has been sat on the coffee table and I opened it and ate 4 chocolates - OMG how sweet was that and I did not enjoy it at all - in fact just mad me feel sick.

    So............. what now? Curry night tonight, am going to have a glass of wine with my atkins friendly meal and then get right back into it, hopefully I won't have caused too much damage.

    I know one thing - I certainly don't fancy a cigarette or chocolate now! hope that I don't have to go through the induction flu feeling again (any one know?)

    Look to the future and learn from the past. Drink loads of water and get right back on track. It's good that you now know that eating chocolate isn't going to be the gastronomic delight you thought it would be. It would probably be the same with many of those high carb "treats" (so called!) If I were you, I'd avoid the glass of wine with the curry (unless you are at the alcohol rung of OWL).

      You ask what next? and then say you will have a glass of wine tonight.

      I strongly urge you not to have that wine! Go with the water and get your self back on track. Just think how proud you will feel if you can do it. Please don't cheat this evening, it can so easily be a slippery slope.

      I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

        Hi and thanks!

        I didn't do it! I just got back from the Indian and I drank water there - only because the wine wasn't chilled!! I hadn't seen these replies. Back on track! Could murder a fag now though! - but cant - have spent the next 4 yrs fag money on a new car today!

                If you get a sweet tooth, maybe you can try adding a little sugar free pudding mix to heavy cream. Check the back of your creams some are 0carb, others are outrageous. I mixed the choc. with a little cream to give me a mini pudding. Tasted like cookie&cream. It definately hit the sweet tooth, and I had even a loss the next day.

                I dont think the candy will totally ruin the diet, perhaps it was just enough to shake the body up..
